General information about Phuket island
Phuket is a Thai province in the south of Thailand, with about 270.000 residents. The main island is also the biggest island in Thailand it is 50 km long. Phukeris located in the Andaman Sea with a lot of mountains and beautiful beaches.
In Phuket the high season starts in november until the end of march. During the high season in Phuket usually the weather is nice with a lot of sunshine and almost no rain.
A disadvantage of the high season is that during this time the prices are higher, and also it’s more crowded in some places.

Visa
Visa on arrival is valid for 30 days, when you plan to stay longer you’ll need to apply for a tourist visa.
From 29 august it’s possible to extend your visa on arrival by 30 days at the immigration office in Patong or Phuket town (for most country’s). The price for this extension is 1900 Thai Baht. Read more
Also it’s possible to do a visarun when your visa is almost expired, if you go by land you’ll get a 15-day entry stamp.
When you travel by airplane you will get a 30-day entry stamp but it’s more expensive, for information about flight tickets you can contact us.
